This spring 2009 Lia Sáile was handpicked by a beautiful magazine and showed an until then unpublished Polaroid series in “Lines & Shapes connect us“, to be precise, in Volume #7. The artist is very proud to be part of Maria’s and Lena’s (curators) mission of publishing small and well curated book-magazines with contemporary artistic visuals and crafts.

The series was created and selected based on the theme which the curators both every time that a new Volume is organized. The theme of Volume #7 was:

” BREAK “

to reduce to pieces or fragments; to dissolve or annul;
to lacerate or wound; to exchange for or divide into smaller units;
to disable or destroy by or as if by shattering or crushing; an Interruption.
