One of Sáile’s biggest publications up to date is the 2nd appearance in
C INTERNATIONAL PHOTO MAGAZINE, Vol. VIII.

The magazine is a heavy hard cover book measuring impressive 13.6 x 9.7 x 1.9 inches
filled with over 300 pages of advert-free high quality photography from all areas and times. It is published in Chinese, English, Japanese and Spanish.

In 2008 Sáile received a grant from C PHOTO to realize an artistic project, which took a few months to be realized, called “IN BETWEEN”, a huge and still growing Polaroid series. This Grant is called C ACTION:

“C Photo Magazine has established an initiative to promote creation in contemporary photography. In each issue at least two artists are commissioned for a series that is published exclusively in this section of the magazine. [...]

The series created in this way for the C Action initiative has become part of C International Photo Magazine’s Collection of Contemporary Photography, and will gradually be circulated both within its pages and through other media. The selection of participating artists is made by the editorial team of the magazine, in collaboration with various curators, gallery owners and the photography specialists of private and public institutions.”

C received eight Polaroid originals, which will be traveling in their collection.

Sáile worked various months planning and organzing the various shootings and trips, also losing a large amount of Poalroids on the last shooting day in Italy when the bag in which they were kept was stolen on the way to the airport. The second shoot was organized in England and Wales, with the assistant Richard Bevan and the models Simon Reeder and Aishan Yu.
