The book – in its two versions – is now available worldwide (Asia, Europe, USA, UK, Australia etc etc etc) – and it is available online

Today I am happy to let you know that 8 of my Polaroids awarded with the C ACTION GRANT by C Photo Magazine are currently exhibited among other fantastic grant-recievers in Prague, CZ, in the LANG HANS GALERIE.
The exhibition is called “FOTO VIRUS / C ACTION” and features the following grant recievers,
as posted by ART COMMISSIONERS:

Ivorypress in collaboration with the Langhans Galerie Praha, Prague, Czech Republic, will show from the 30th of March until 15th of May, 2011, the exhibition C Action Photo Virus. Curator Walter Keller has selected seventeen artists

awarded with the Grants of C Photo: the C Action project during its first cicle from 2005 to 2010. A selection of these series will be on the walls, and more than 3000 printed pages about the worldwide photo scene in ten big books to view and read. C Photo, the top of the top publication on photography, is visiting Prague

for the first time! Marlene interviewed the model Togola after the last shooting
and I thought I’d share it as a teaser, before I find time to edit the making-of-videos, one by one, to share them with you.
Of course I’m constantly working on the original Polaroids and it takes quite some time and effort to make everything (including the 2008 series’ with Aishan and Simon) flow as a whole, as a unity which works together organically, without compromising the value of the single picture.

So here a glimpse at who we were working with and how he experienced the shooting and the project:

now we are back in Reykjavik from the 2nd part of the Shooting in the east of Iceland.
Docu-Photos (maybe eben videos, depending on how quick I am with all this) and a lot of information and background-sharing to come in the next few days!

so the second shooting day with the male model ended just now, we have a lot of work behind us, many hrs in the cold in the wet in the heat in the wind in the…everything! The weather is crazy here. The shoot went well so far, very adventurous as you will see from the documentary shots, but absolutely worth the struggle and exhaustion.
